Jomo was formed in April 2014 by three individuals whe had a vision to fulfill a need they had seen in the healthcare industry. They were inspired by seeing a close friend of theirs struggle to get to her doctor’s appointments because she did not have transportation. They all three had experience in the logistics industry and felt they could be if help to people in the community with the same issues.
So with the initial goal being fulfilled, they found out a need to provide services for individuals who live in group homes. So they branched out to this field as well and have been doing so for the past 3 years. From our humble beginnings, we have been able to grow by always being cognizant of the fact that this company would not exist without having a good relationship between Jomo transportation and the community we serve.
We here at Jomo also care about our employees, we aim to have our employees, our drivers, happy to work with us by making sure we treat them with dignity and their well being. Because ultimately, they are the ones that interact with our clients, and the community at large. This culture as well as making sure the employees are fairly compensated has enabled Jomo grow into the most respected companies in the areas we service.
As we go into the sixth year of existence we will always strive to provide our clients with the best of service and to set a good example for others in the industry.
